Surf and Learn - I know, your anxious to get started and don't have time to worry about the little details. Fortunately, the learning curve is a gentle one . Once you understand the basics, the rest comes quickly.

Take my advice, take the time to search out answers on your own first. You will rapidly learn the ins and outs of web surfing and come across many many more interesting tidbits along the way than you will by finding a "GURU" and asking them.
