Antenna Hardware

On this page you will find the "Go-Withs" that involve old time radio antenna systems. This includes "strain" insulators, lightning arresters, lead-in standoffs, and other related hardware.
With modern, built in antennas on today's receivers, we rarely think of the effort and excitement experienced radio first came into the household, and an antenna had to be erected to get anything beyond the most local stations.
Although telephone & telegraph insulators have been quite popular among collectors for some time, "strain" insulators have only recently generated interest. As a result, information on these is scarce. If you have references, or information on Strain Insulators, Arresters, or other antenna hardware, please E-Mail.
